Your dandy letter to hand and sure was glad to here from you dear. Your letter of Monday to hand and sure did enjoy same. You sure must have your troubles with the fuf(?). Honey how long are you going to keep writing 1919 all your letters I have received for the last week are 1919 and you are behind the time. So wake up.
I just come home. i was up at Fuente and seen the baby and Hellen. The baby is cute and Hellen look fine for the first day out of the Hospital and the first day out of bed. They sure are all happy about Gertrude everything the baby. You know dear if they make so much over a baby I wouldn’t mind being a baby. Hattie was there also for Scharman and Gerald. The men were playing cards. I was there for about 1 1/2 hour so I going on Eleven O’ Clock and I will only write you a short letter because I want to go to bed. I had a letter from my brother, he wants me to come by the first but I will write him and tell him the best I can do is the 15th of Feb. Enclosed read letter and send back so far I have not said anything to Kaiser but I will tell him some time this week.
Tomorrow night I must go to be fasted by Bro Jacob. I told the folks Fuente, Hattie and Hellen that I was going East. They would rather I stay there. Fuente said her bro is not coming know on around the first and she said his son is engaged to some girl from Chandasia(?). I expect you got my big letter today I wrote you Monday night. well dear take care of your selfe and don’t get sick and I will try and do the same from your sweet heart with love and kisses and oodes and oodes of hugs.
