My Dearest Fanny,
Your letter to hand which you wrote Friday October 5th and shure was glad to here from you.
I see from your letter you say you were rather tired when you arrived home. I am very sorry but I shure did hate to see that train pull out with you on. All I was during thinking if you where you there(?) and when I will here from you. Fanny dear if you have your mind on me only half as much as I have on you your mind is shure busy. I must say myself you are the first girl I ever took such a liking to and the likeing shure comes from the right place.
I glad you arrive safe and that your two bro were at the station to meet you.
Well let hope when the times come I shall come into the same station and may never be far away from it. So your mother and Dad was waiting on your arrival. You say your mother missed you but how about me. I shure do miss you. I know I can’t never live without you and be happy. Because you were and meant for me.
Fanny dear you said you were telling mother about me. How nice I were to you and you also said you liked me and I like you, so you did not tell mother that I loved you, but deary, I want you to know that I shure love you and you are the only forever. I thought it was not necessary to tell you because I thought actions make louder than words.
Yes dear we were very busy Saturday and as you know we were are always keep on the go.
Let’s hope the time will come when you and I are one in everything. I know I could do anything and everything for the one who I love. Who is know about 500 miles away from me down in Coffeyville Kansas.
Fanny dear this is my first time I ever meet the kind of girl I care for and they say love is blind but I don’t think there is anything wrong with my eye sight. What do you say.
Fanny dear, Flora did not say a word to me but I don’t if she said anything to Lester or Fanny Kahn, if cause they will tell you when they write you.
I hope you get your trunk so you can get everything straightened out.
Well, I expect you meant to work us you call it. Well how does it seem after having a six week vacation. Well dear you use your good judgement about asking your dad. It will be ok with me anytime. I know you are going to do your best and more than that I can’t expect. It means just as much to you as does to me. So I know you will do and talk to your dad when you think the right time comes.
You want to know if I miss you. That is all that I do is miss you and miss you. if I only had a picture here so I could look at you and kiss you good morning and good evening. You know I think a lot of you when I give you my only picture frame i ever had. But nothing is to good for my little sweet girl down in Kansas.
You want to know what I have been doing with myself since you left Chicago. Well I will tell you and that is thinking of you and Sunday I was in the house till 5pm and then sister and I had dinner from there we went to the Covent Garden and seen Mildred Harris in the Forbidden and they also had Charley Chapman in the Floor Walker.
Yes one night after you left chicago I took Sister over to see a Fisher and his new wife. Since you left Fanny, we had rain nearly every day. But today was an ideal day. So you still think of the little ham(?) you eat if you had only eaten some about 1/2 bl…(?) so.
Fanny dear I still have the ticket from the Buckingham we wanted to go Sunday but sister seen the flag.
Yes I want to tell you. Sister called up Flora Kahn Friday eve and wanted to know if she wanted to go to Fenfle on Saturday AM and if cause she said she did not want to go for some reason. So yesterday I told sister I will call up Flora Kahn and see if she will go along to the picture show last evening and she said she had company and was going to a party in the evening. But she thank me. One night this week I am going out to Morice Kahn store, Fanny. I need some thing so I going out there to buy them so I effect I will see the whole family, I will let you know.
I am going to call up your aunt some of these days and see how they all are. I may go over some time and play cards. They want me to come. Now fanny dear, I am spending the whole evening writing to you and it gives me great pleasure to write to someone dear who I love and I expect every night i will be writeing to my little sweetie. Now I have given all my girl friends up – who I have been writing to, so I don’t expect you to write tto yours – only in Chicago.
So you know between work and writeing to you I will be busy and will be bed time if all the letters are as long as this one. I see you put out extra well I think there is a sew(?) extra in this letter. Know I will close with love and kisses to my only lovingly yours,
David M Eisman
