My dearest Fanny,
As this is Sunday and I shure am lonesome for you. So the best I can do is look at your picture and kiss you. Know dear you don’t mind if I kiss you.
As this is a dandy day and I wish you were here so we could go strolling in Lincoln Park gil(?) but the Park look good and there are so many couple taken an (tear in the page) through the park. That I wished you were here that we could go into the park and be by our selves and talk things over. I was thinking Saturday, yesterday Mr. Frideise got married and they used to call another up on the phone and talk about one hour. I think nearly every night this would take place.
Now would it be nice if you were here so i could call you up and that would save so much writing. Or if I were down in Kansas, that would be just as good. I was wondering a few times what you are doing with yourself today.
It seen i miss you more on a day like Sunday because I have nothing on my mind but you to think of.
I am well and feeling like a six year old. I hope the same of you. I know you are always happy go lucky. Mr Judy was best man yesterday at the wedding and this am he said you are next, Dave. So I said he should get thing in shape with his girl and we will have a double wedding. And he said he has not got the nerve.
Mr Judy had a friend of his, his Ford Cafe and it needed a little fixing so I fix it because he wanted to go out in the country to call on some friends of his and have dinner there. If cause he said the way the car is he would not go with the car. He would take the train. SoI reapired it and took sister out for a little spin and stopped at your aunt to find out if there is going to be a card game this evening. But nothing doing till next Sunday even. Then she wants sister and I to come for supper and have a game of cards. So know you know what is on the program for next Sunday evening.
Your aunt is well and happy. And your uncle Harry is working and I did not see lester. If cause I only was there for a short time. I asked aunt if she has heard from you and she said nly one letter. Then she said to me did you here from Fanny. And I said every day.
Fanny dear we has supper sister and I. She is over at my flat and Mrs. White is not home. So I went up to the market and got some meat bread and I was the cook. The dinner your sweet made so we are through with our supper. I had to do the cooking and washing dishes and Freda dried the dishes that is all the part she took in it. I wish you would have been here to sample my cooking. You shure are welcome all the time. Know dear Freda is also sending you a letter and when I am through writing we are going to the puchangho(?) to use those ticket. How would you like to go along to the movies.
Calves hides are know 744. Yesterday I was shure some busy we done about 1000 business. That is some business for two to do. You shure must keep stefing(?).
I will look for a letter in the morning. And I know you will get one from me.
Yes dear when your picture came this week there was a customer in the store and letter between the mail man and the customer. They would not let up until I showed the photo of you. And the mail man knows your letter when they come and he is kiding me and well dear. Be good and you can expect the same from me. From your only.
