The days of real short he wanted to know how you are and I wanted to know how his friend was. Toy know the one from Maryville Knassis so he wanted to know when I was going to Coffeyville and wanted to know when he was going to Marryville.
It look like rain for the rest of the day. I have so many letter to write so I think I will get them wrote so they will be off my hand. We were very busy at the store so I am tired and stiff from yesterday. I was laiding in bed thinking about you was wondering if you were in bed yet or if you were up and what you are going to do to pass the Sunday around. I think if I were there it would not be so lonesome for you. Do you think you would get lonesome if I were there today or all the time?
My folks are well pleased with you and want to see you. They want to know when we are coming East and I should bring you along but they don’t say where the money should come from. I can’t travel on my looks. However my money is mostly tied up as you know. Say dear you write home to my sister if you get time. my dad went over to new york to help my bro out for about 3 or 4 week so my sister said it so lonesome only mother and sister at home in such a big house.
I going to write home. You know dear I had a letter from home yesterday and last week was the first time I wrote home for a long time and my sister said I should write home more often because mother does not like it. She is cranky if I don’t write so I must write once every week. I going to write home when I am through with your letter because if that pleases mother. I will write each week. You know dear all the years I was in Chicago there never was a week that I didn’t wirte home or get a letter form home but on account of sister being here I would let the writeing up to her because I had you to write too which took up the whole evening.
Your letter come to me at noon yesterday and just thing I could not find a minute time to read it to see what my Fanny has in it. So it was 10pm last night till i got time to read it.
How are all your folks and how is the business. What do your bro say about you and I. So ben took the letter that you was going to send to me and he wanted to see what kind of mush we write each other. Well I must call up your aunt and let her know that we are coming out tonight. How I wish you were here so you could go with us. Well the time will come. So just be patience everything will be okay. Mr Judy sends regards and my folks want to be remember and also my sisters. So I will bring this letter to a close from your only with love and kisses to my only little girl.
