My dearest girl,

I am back d(tear) the same think and that is writeing to my only. Which is a regular job. Honey I was glad to here from you yesterday. Monday I had two letter from you and the one letter on the last mail this PM which you wrote Sunday telling me that you did not get any mail Saturday or Sunday (tear) is to bad you did (tear) any mail for two days (tear). But dear you must get at least two or three letter from me because Dear I write you one letter each day so you must get seven letter each week and if you don’t get that many letter let me know. Yes I take that back Saturday I can’t write but that still will make six letter.

Dear did you get the letter last week where I had bringing up father in kitchen you got a lot of letter yesterday or you are not getting all your mail.

The weather was cold today. Business is a little slow. Calves hides are higher again. 77 & 78 cents lbs so I guess your Dad is glad of that. Say dear you told me your one bro ben was going up to Okmulgee is that for good or just for a day or so. How is business with your folks.

Honey I write so much and if cause you want to answer all of my letter so they still come flowing in. But are you afraid of Ben will discharge you on account of me for neglecting your daily duty at the office. I shall be very glad when I see you. I was thinking how long it is since I seen you and here you write it is only three weeks. Honest to goodness it seem like three month or more. I hope you have the picture taken and they turn out OK and will look for one. I had Fried Oysters for supper tonight and they were home made and shure did eat my share. I think I eat as many oysters as you are old. I am so full of oysters I can’t hardly write. I see the lavender paper is all and the new color is yellow.

Mr Judy was not home last night I see in the morning paper the tgirl from the Telephone Co are out on a strike and I expect he had to stay downtown.

I wish I could be in Coffeyville Sunday Eve to see you and here you since. Well dear I expect a letter from my bro this week. See what he say thing are. Do you think you will like to go away so far from your folks. You know new york is some trip from where you are. You know dear if it were not so late in the year I would buy a Ford and drive from here to New York, but it to late in the year. Have you said anything to you Dad about me going into the junk business or in other works learn the business and offer up a place of my own. I don’t remember if you wever wrote to me about this what he thought about it. Well dear before your cold is better and how I wish you were near me and never away from me because absence make the heat grow fonder is good.
