My dearest Fanny,
Your big facy jucy letter of Nov 25th to hand and shure was glad to here from my dear little girl. Well dear as this will be the last letter I will write until is see you Sunday night if cause I just come home and sat down and wrote so I can mail it so it goes out on tonight mail. Or if I would wait to mail it in the morning perhaps. I would arrive before the letter today letter was a real letter and I shure did laugh at some of the thing you had in it.
Dear I want to thank you. I know you all will make my visit a very pleasant one that is why I want to come because I am welcome. Well just think tomorrow night I start on my trip I just make me think of the night I took you to the station. That night I was sad because I could not go along and was wondering when I will take the same route for the same place. Where you were going well needless the day has come. Ha ha. You never downed I would ever be your sweet heart and would come to see you. Well that is the way it goes in these big cities.
Was downtown and on my way Stofed at 1949 Burling and was only there five minutes when I was ready to leave I told the Kahns I were going down to Coffeyville; gee Mrs. K said how come you never said anything and you are not going down for Mother G. I said no. Business to buy turkey. But I did not say to buy Chickens.
Well dear, I had a dandy time at Fuente Harn house had a dandy turkey dinner but to tell the truth I could not eat much because I had dinner at 2:30pm at Fridises so I was not able to do Justice to Harn Turkey. Played card and none 34¢ ha ha. I thought I could make enough to tip the porter on the train but I can’t only made my car fare if cause every body asked me how you were and ect. I called up Fanny B to see how there were Mr Kohn is back in the store and Mrs Kohn is alright again.
Honey thank you for being so thought full to write and tell me know to get to the main part of Kansas City. I shall follow your directions well dear. I wrote you yesterday telling you I was coming so you can look for one at 11:30pm if the train get in on time.By by. Best regards to the folks and love ect xxxoxox
