My dearest Fanny,
Your two letter to hand of the 18th and as usual was very glad to here from my sweetheart. I am so glad you received the ring OK and like it so much. I though you would like it.
Just come home was out at Friedeisen for dinner and had a very nice dinner. O o’clock dinner. Mr Judy had his Mary there also for dinner. We had a dandy time. She is a very nice girl but they had to leave at 4pm because must work tonight if cuase if they could of stayed why we would have had a game of cards if cause I stayed till around 5pm and then I left because I wanted to come home and write to my intended wife. They wanted me to stay and have supper but I thank them and said no that I wanted to get home. They want to be reveubur to you dear.
Honey we are very busy and I shure have my hands full at the present time. we had a big day Saturday and work until nearly 11o’clock I also work Friday night and I got up this am at 7am and went downtown to do buying and work till 12am. Gee but fault is skyhigh and scarce. They just fight to get turkey it is no quarter of price. There are twenty buyers for every package come in. We got nearly all we neede if cause you don’t know how to buy you must just take a chance. Turkey are going to be 57 geese, 37 cent chickens, 37 cent and duck 45 cents. So you can see these are (????) prices to asked but what can you do. My darn ???? had got a fit again somebody has been using it I wish they would let my thing alone.
Well dear I work every night till Christmas and I wonder where we two lover will be Christmas one year from now. God only knows.
Honey I never got time to call up anybody last week and there be very little chance of me calling up any of them before xmas day. Dear I wish I could be with you christmas day so far I don’t know where I will spend they day but I know next Sunday I will be out at Funte because Uncle Mike birthday. Mrs Kohn called up one day last week but I was out she order one goose. I expect they are busy at the store. I expected a letter from home and never got it but I guess there will be one in the morning from home and one or more from my little girl.
Honey I going to write my bro and see how thing are I will send you the letter when he writes to me.
Well dear I hope your Dady is better. You shure must be busy doing all that singing. I hope you take it easy after xmas. These thing will not be so rushing and you can rest rest up and get nice and fat.
I will not do any work till the first of the year. I am doing a little but I don’t expect to take my second till the first of the new year because I am to busy and if I took some of the know I would neglect the business.
Well dear I can write a very interesting letter tonight so you excuse letter and writing but I will try and write you a better letter next time. How are all the boys. What do you here from max and ben. how is business. Give my best to mother and father and I will close with love and kisses from your love
