My dearest Fanny,
God bless your heart. How are you. I shure was thinking so much of you since Saturday. I was wondering what you were doing with yourself and if you were lonesome for me as I am for you. I shure do get lonesome for you specifically when I got get mail from you. Yesterday I did not get mail from you dear but I know it is not your fault. So I expect in the am there will be a few letter from my dear girl. So I can read them with my hearts content. I felt a little blue Saturday that I did not get any mail from you dear and besides I got a telegram from home wanted to know if I were sick and that made me feel bad to think my dear mother was worried about me if cause I think that is the girl falt(?) in one way I told them how busy I would be and they did not explain that to mother and just left her worry. well I got the telegram at 2pm and send a card at once teling them I am OK and will write Sunday but this morning I send a telegram telling them I am well and happy and wish I could be home for dinner and to morrow am they will get the card and by Tuesday my letter which I wrote this afternoon, you see dear. Thursday afternoon I send a box home with the goose in and meat and ect and Judy done the writing or addressing on the box and besides I told him to write a card telling them there was a box on the way and that they should not buy any Sunday meat and should be on the look out for it and that I was to busy to write and brought the card to a close by saying love from Dave and Jack so I don’t know weather or not on the streamth(?) of the car and because Judy done the writeing that they thought I was sick or not. But I wrote them a letter and I know everything thing will be OK and I expect a letter but Tuesday in regards.
Honey I don’t what I would give up if I could talk to you and be with you for awhile tonight. This am I was down at the lodge and getting some of the work. I will be busy every night till I get the work so I can whistle it. They are haveing 3rd degree Tuesday but if I could get off early I would go to the banquet but I can get off early enough. But I take my 3rd the 27th of this month must be there at 12 O Clock noon how would you like to see it.
Honey Jack gave me one of his pictures and they are dandy and the car he has in given to him by the telephone co to do his work. Last night I came home early from the market and I thought I was going to get to bed early on account of getting up early this AM well I went to bed around 11pm last night and about 1130pm Jack come home and he come in my room and woke me up and we got talking about the telegram and then we went one some of the lodge work and it was 2am till I went to sleep. we were in bed together telling such funny thing that we got to laugh and I said I going to my room first be was in room and later I was in his room. Honey I think he is engaged to mary on the 9th. if cause keep this to yourselfe it is funny how we would kid each other about our Kansas girl and to think we both have Kansas girl and are to be married sooner or later. I am glad Jack is engaged because he is not so young.
Honey I come home from lodge at 1pm and had dinner across the street and come home and wrote to letter one to my Bro in regard to the letter he wrote that I had wrote you about and one letter home then it was at 4pm and I was so sleepy I had to go to bed and I sleep till six o clock so know I feel a little mor rested up so then I started on your letter and when I am finished I going to have some thing to eat I going to buy a can of Tomatoes and have stewed tomatoes and some meat and make my own supper. I am hungry for stewed Tomatoes, I wish you were here to cook my supper for me. I don’t feel like going over to Weil for supper and in a restaurant I don’t want to go then when I am through with my supper and mail your letter I will call up Faunte and say hello and come home and go to bed and have a real night reast.
Honey Today Mrs. White gave me the key to my truck she said she found it some time ago but did not know it belong to my truck. I think I wrote you that I thought that there was some one at my truck and reading my letter and ect.
Dear I have been anywhere I have to busy I guess the folks Hattie Hellen and the whole bunch think I have forogtten them but that is not true. I have not heard anything about Kahn as Flora if I get time I will stop when I go downtown this week and see how they are. Honey I was down at the Garment on 39th and got my whole out fit the shoes I am wearing at the store I also bought a pair of shoes from the KK Shoe Co of Carry PA they seem to be good shoes. I have not tried them you know dear I have a hopechest know. My barracks bag. I got from US. I going to see if I can fill it like you did with your chest.
Honey I wanted to read all your letter over to see if there was anything special you wanted to know but I did not get time but if I have time after I am through eating my supper I want to read them over my sotmach is hungry know my love to all and oodles and oodles of hugs and ksises from your only sweetheart to my only sweetheart.
