My dearest Fanny,

Just come home from lodge and know it is after 11 o clock but I thought it best to write you a few lines. I sure was worried about you and especially when I did not get any letter from you and then I got thinking all kinds of fool things and had no rest till I called up Fuente to find out if they received mail and Fuente said she had a letter from your mother saying that you were getting better which made me feel easier although I was very much alarmed about you when the mail man had no mail for me from you. And I know you were sick. I thought you got still sicker and the Dr forbid you to write and all such thing entered my mind. But dear I am glad you are getting better because your love would not want anything to happen to you for all the world.

I made my own breakfast this morning and yesterday my own dinner the weil men to some lunch and asked me if I could be there at a certain time and I said I don’t think I can. Because I don’t care to eat there and when I can get out of it I do not like that lunch anymore for verous reason. I will tell you sometime. I don’t like to talk about people but such pigs and their daughter is the biggest Pig of the bunch. I don’t think she ever washes her selfe or comb her hair. I never seen such a lazy girl I wonder what will become of a girl like her when her folks are not here anymore.

Well dear I hope I get a letter tomorrow from you. because I sure am waiting for one. I don’t know much to write tonight and I want to go to bed because it is 12 o clock and I will sure not get any beauty sleep tonight. My best to Mother & Daddy & bro and much love and kisses to you dear.

From your only with speedy recovery.
Love,
David
