My dearest lover,
Your dandy letter to hand of Feb 25th and sure was glad to here from you dear. All that I can say is I love you more than ever and how I wish you were here so I could talk to you dear. I sure do get lonesome for you and miss you more than I can tell. Sunday I will write you a big letter because to night I am so tired I can hardly hold my head up. I work till 8pm and went to the good Resturant and had a nice supper. I can’t say nothing but the best about there cooking then coming home I meet the liady on the first apt and we got talking and she invited me to come in here flat to see her grand child a boy 7 month old some big kid. Then she played some music on the victrola and I asked them if tjhey had the piece called Waiting and they said yes but when they come to look for it one of her daughters had taken it home so dear ever place I go I asked if they have that piece. I am sure in love with it and when we are married you must sing that ever night for your lover and I am going to put that in our contract ha ha. Yes dear I for get to answer some of the question you asked me. I just thought of one where you had said it will be seen funny to be called Mrs. DM Eisman but you only notice that for a few weeks. Yes then I come up stair and it was 9pm and when I wanted to go in the bath room to take a shave and bath they was some one in and then another one went in the bath room and till I got to go in it was nearly 10pm. So you see dear it is late and I am very tired but I could not think of going to bed with out writeing to my lover. I bought two shirt yesterday and I must start getting new things. I going to get a new suit next month yes dear if they want to pay you for singing just change then enough. Why should you all the time sing for charity? I had a letter from my bro and I don’t think I will write to him they neede not to suggest thing to me about coming East. He should look out for himselfe and I will do the same. Honey if you were here I would just love you and love you till you would say enough.
