My dearest Fanny,
You are the sweetest and the best girl in the land. If you were here I would kiss you so much you would say Dave save some of those kisses for some other time I have enough of them for tonight. That if you were here you would get all these kisses but since you are not present I must send you some in the letter before I forget. I kiss your picture so many times and look at you and I think you must talk to me but all you do is smile. I kiss you either 3 or 6 times each time and say good night dear. I had dinner at the Hungarian Restaurant this noon and was very good and this evening I made my own supper. I had so me steak left over from last night and warm that up and cook one eggs to it and had a little fried potatoes and good coffee and some very fine poppy seede bread so my supper was good also then I washed the dishes as fallow One spoon one knife one fork one saucer one cup one plate. Last night I wrote you a big fat letter and took it to the Post Office so you will get it fure Tuesday.
Today I feel better and I believe that I had the flu or a tuch of it. I sure did not feel very good last week. I still have a little pain or a tight on my chest and if that don’t go away I will go and see a Dr but I think I will be alright. When I was out delivering meat last week and I had to go to the 3rd appt I was out of wind and my knees were just shaking like a leaf. I was so tired when the day was over all I wanted to do is go home and get to bed quick. Well when I am ready to go to bed to night I will rub my chest and take a hot lemonade. I still have a cold but don’t cough very much. I wanted to buy the record with the piece I love so much call “waiting” but they are sold out so I ordered it and the man said I can get it by Saturday. So I going to have waiting till I fall to sleep.
Honey I received your letters to day two this am and one this PM and the letter of Saturday sure was a big fat one. And I had to wait till I get home to read it. I read it while I was eating my supper. I sure do laugh at your letters some of the funny thing you write in this I wish I had time to think of some funny thing so I could write them to you but it just keep me busy to keep thinking of some of the thing I want to write to ou. So I always answer the questions you want to know.
