My Dearest Fanny,
Your dandy letter to hand and sure was glad to here from you dear. I just come home was out to Fr and from there went to Dave M & Co. and stayed there awhile they all asked about you and send their love and they all are very much interested in us about our wedding day. Hellen said Dave tell me all about it and when and where it going to take place they are all so happy that we decided to get married next month and they can’t wait till you come to Chicago. I told Hellen you would come over to take care of Gertrude and wash the d(??). And friedeses wanted to know all about our wedding day, that is the latest our wedding Dave M said tonight he married Hellen so the neighbors would stop talking. Honey I got the record Waiting and played it last night ten times and this noon when on my lunch hour and the love sick man is playing it while writeing you and he like to tease me and say that all I will play that piece it sure is a dandy piece although I rather here you sing it because I think you can sing much better than the records played it. Yes dear Mrs White has a bitch Victor machine cost about $280. Honey last night before we went to bed I had tea with Mrs White and the love sick man and treated them to your cake. They sure like it and I said no wonder look where it come from and who made it. I keep the cake for myselfe because I like good thing but if I would hand it out it would be gone long already. I expect a call from Judy and I going to take a bath and get to bed because I am very tired. it sure is raining out some and very dark you can’t hardly see where a person is driveing so dear you excuse me because this letter is short but I must get to sleep because I got late to bed every night so far. I read this clipping I wish I could here you sing gee when I play that piece waiting I sure can’t wait till I see you.Now the love sick man is playing it again, he like it two. I don’t blame him, can’t you here it dear, it so pretty.
Good night, Dave.
