My Dearest Lover,
Your dandy letter to hand and sure was glad to here from you dear. Come home late to night about 8pm and made some thing to eat and then to eat then took a bath and washed my head and took a shave so know it is going on ten it seem I never can get to bed early since you know how to give the Fuist a bath. I was thinking you will have another to give a bath by that time you will have lots of experience how to bath ha ha.
Honey we or I I play the record waiting for my lunch and in the singing and how I listen to every word. It only make me want you more and more. I was saying when you sang that to me that when you won(?) my heart I wonder if your ears burned to day. I was thinking so much of you and was -ing(?) about you. I told Jack how much I love you. Well dear Jack was up at noon time to see me. It is about two week since we seen each other and we sure were glad to see each other. Jack got me and hug me and I told him Jack you must not do that, what will my lover say. He said they are very happy and we are very glad that we are going to get married next month. Jack said he wish he could come to the wedding but he said to much expensive. He just got married and had to have many new things other wise he would like to come. Mary and Jack send their love and they told me about the dandy letter you wrote them. and I think Mary is writeing to you to night from what Jack said.
Honey I was looking the paper about lighthouse keeping rooms and they are few places in this neighborhood and what you could get I would not want, so if we don’t find anything why we or I will tkae the place here at Mrs. White temporarily then when you are here you can look around and if you find something you like better then we move. Honey this is a nice large room and can use the kitchen if cause she let me have these privileges otherwise she would not rent her room and kitchen and honey I know who is in this flat so if I can’t find anything else this place will be better than sleeping in Lincoln Park. She is going fixed up the room but new rug(?) in and change bed and pictures and ect. For the newlyweds.
Yes dear you guess it right if I can’t find anything else I was talking to Jack about the room and ect and he said Dave I wish you could get a place like we have but where are you going to find it. He said there are no places to be had but I know we will get something later on because I have a drag with some of the real estate men. So lover I also asked Jack about our agreement what address we should give and he said well where ever you fine(?) it will only be temporary so I think best you at 651 Barry Ave.
So you and Joe had a good time. Well dear you got nothing on me. I bought the record waiting and it had a scratch in it. SO I took it back to have it exchange and told them my wife sent me back writh the record because it was damaged. Sorry I say that so much when I got to buy a shirt or a hat or a suit I always say to the clerk Do you think my wife will like it. Yes I know you are going to be good to me and I cant wait to see you because I love you so much that I don’t write it in words. You are on my mind and I can see you so plain. I just can’t see why you must be so afar well the time is getting near
I was looking at a platinum(?) ring for you last night and to night. When you know the right dates I will have it put in and our initial. Dear I am so glad you understood my letter because I only want well like I always do. Yes dear that is a good idear not to asked any them than your relatives can’t say anything that you had this one and did not want us and ect. You know how they would say so a quiet wedding is the best.
Say lover ou said in your letter that you don’t know of anyone who does not like you. I do. I hate you. I wish you were here I would give you 50-11 kisses hugs and some extra ones. my best to all and I must write home tonight good night David.
From your only. OI hope you are happy.
Honey is it necessary to have a birth certificate if so I will have the folks to get one back home from the county clerk.
