My dearest Fannie,

Your dandy letter to hand of March 16th and sure was glad to here from my lover. Glad to know that you are well and happy. i got a letter from your Bro Ben and your letter that makes two letter from Coffeytown.

Yes dear I have your picture in my watch and shall always stay there and your picture on my dresser and you are looking at me all the time when I am in my room. I sure do kiss your pictur enow don’t you wish you were getting the kisses. Well next month you get the kisses and the picture takes a vacation and when you dear will not let me kiss you then I will kiss your picture haha.

Ben wrote me a crazy letter and he said he would not come to Chicago till in April when we are here.

Yes dear I know you don’t go out with any other fellows and honey you can go out with some young man or an old one if you like as long as he is decent because I am not jealous. I don’t expect you to sit at home and hold your head. I only wrote that because he was teasing me and to help to make a long letter.

Honey I hope your eyes are better and best you take your mother advice you will have lots of time when you are here to embroiding and sew so the things you want to finish and are not finish I would stay put then in your trunk and when you are here and have nothing to do than you can work on those things.

Jack called me up this afternoon and I talk to him for awhile and they are so happy and send their best to you dear. I said to Jack well how is married life and he said its the only thing and you will never regret it. He wanted to know when we are going to get married and I told him the 14th.

Yes dear the 14th will be alright with me, have it over with. I am sure glad (????) the day comes because it seem like two years since I seen you last. Yes we want a Rabbi who can tie a knot that will never come open. Honey I must been drunk when I wrote the letter of the 14th or the you can’t see well. Kaiser know that I can’t get a flat and said I should wait because everything is to high to furnish a flat and later on thing may get easier and honey I wrote or went to write that Kaiser bought a peerless ice machine for cost $2000 but not a peerless automobile. Kaiser can’t drive a car. He won’t even try to learn to drive. Now dear you look what I had written before I had auto now honey you better have your finger measured again to be sure a size 5 will be large enough and that it will go over your nuckle. I talk to Jack about it and he said you better be sure before you have them to put the initial in it so honey you go to the jewelry store and have them go ahead because your fingers may get fatter if cause if size 5 is right very well because such a ring cost lots of money and I want it to be right not that we would have to have it made larger later on. They say that is bad luck. Honey there we will not go to Leventhworth. I would not go where you dont want to go the hotel name is Elsmer at Lindwood. and Trust ave, whe ever that is. Good night love with kises and hugs and love from your David.
