My dearest Fanny,
Your letter to hand of Sunday and was glad to here from you. I read your letter over sixteen times to make believe it was a long letter. Yes dear you are losing a lot of beauty sleep getting home at such late hours. I am a good boy and stay home every night and go to bed after I have written your letter if cause the reason I try to get to bed early is because I believe I neede plenty beauty sleep haha. I had such a classy shirt on today and everyone wanted to now where the fire sale was quite a few were teasing me some wanted to know if my wife gave it to me and the laidy who seen us on the car that night was in the store and she asked about good looking girl. I told her you were fine and she said is she here in Chicago. I said no, in the state of Kansas, but I expected you here soon well she said when she come send her up to me and when I am through talking to her, it will be time for me to buy furniture. But she said this is no time to buy furniture at these prices. Wait till she finds out I am away on my honeymoon because she has no idea that we are about ready to be married.
I meet the Dr Weil today and he wanted to know if I was getting ready for my trip. I told them the day I was going to get married they all are much nicer to me since they know that I can get along very well without them, as I look at life I don’t car to have more enemy than I can help if cause I know why they were a little peeved at me. But I just thought I would let them alone till they got over there self. Now they treat me fine. You know dear I never cared to go over even to call on them since I quit them. They come in the market market nearby ever day. Well today was a real day for a change.
Honey I run out of paper and the lover sick man gave me this sheet but I can write on it with my pen – it either the damn paper or else my pen, so you must excuse ?????. Funta call me up and asked me to come up Friday night for supper but I was to busy when she call me and told her I would call her up later on so I must call her tonight but I don’t know if I go up Friday for supper because it get to late.
Honey I am glad you enjoyed the dinner Ethel gave in your honor. How would it been if I were there. You sure are one busy girl – busy every day taken up till you leave Coffeytown haha. Some of these day I will buy the whole town and change the name to teatown, then everyone will have to drink tea.
Yes dear you were is going to change. I wonder if you will like your new (???) just as well. It a good thing my ???? has no ??? on it. You know what I mean haha. Then they would say you were a ….. – yes dear, we also had a gang by clone here in last night. So you could reed about some well I kiss your picture and say well I wonder how you are today and weather you are thinking of me. Well dear give my love to all and be good love kisses and hugs from your only to his only good night Dear from love I did not feel like going to lodge tonight but next week I will go.
