My dearest Fanny,
Your dandy letter to hand of April 4th and sure was glad to here from you dear. I sure did enjoy your letter and have read it twice and you can just bet I will read it once more to night before I go to bed. Honey I am writeing this letter before I go to lodge because I expect it will be late till I get home from lodge. Yes dear Lester told me he had a letter from you and I ment to tell you in last night letter but forgot it. Talk to Ethel this am and she wish us the best in n the land of everything and hope all our trouble would be little ones. Like the Malasky always tease me, Dear I can’t read German but Mr. Kaiser read it for me and I sure did enjoy the little note mother wrote to me and it was a treat to me to have a little letter from my new mother. I only wish it were longer. I am glad you got the meat and I hope you will like it. I know the tongue are very good because Hellen had the same as you got and had it for supper Sunday night. The weather is still cold but the snow is melting away. You must of had the same kind of weather as we had.
Honey I have my ticket over the Sante Fe but if I did not have it I would of gone from KC over the Katy but now I got my ticket so I will come over the Sante Fe and if the train is on time I will get there at 1110pm Sunday. So now you know where and how I will come the time is getting closer. Yes dear I wore the tie Sunday and the folks wanted to now where I got the new tie if cause I told them from my sweetie. Yes dear I hope the weather is nice when on our HM give my best and love to mother Dady and the boys and tell then I will see them soon.
