My dearest Fanny,
As this is Wednesday and I just come home and the time is 1030 PM so iw ill write you a little letter to show you that my heart is in the right place. I was up to Taunte’s tonight for supper and like same Taunte had matzo ball soup and roast veal and ect. Sure did tast fine. I also met your cousin Jacob Heymann of Bearetown KY. He was at Taunte for supper and is staying there overnight and leave tomorrow night for home. He seems to be a nice fellow and said he was glad to meet me and wish us lots of luck. He also said it must be about 3 years since he seen you and said that you had gone with him to do some of the bying when you was here that time.
Schloma(?) asked me if I called up Flora and I said no that I did not have time and she said call her up because you have time it only takes a few minutes now why she wants me to call her I don’t know if cause they have something between them and you can just bet about I will not call her or her folks. When we come back here then we can call them but I would not call her if some one gave me a ten spot but I must call Fanny B before I leave. Jack call me and I talk to him and he is going to try and get out to see me tomorrow, he wants to be remembered to you. Mary is staying home from the office this week to take a little rest. The weather is still cold. Come home from lodge around 1115pm I had a busy day today.

So i will get the letter in the morning and will enjoy same, just so much more. well dear, you only get two more letters then I will be on the way myselfe, so I will look for your last letter Saturday.
